Mainly originating from Myanmar, Mozambique, Madagascar and Tanzania. Ruby is considered to be one of the most rarest gemstones in the world and that explains it's pricey background. It is also one of many favourite, because of its eye-catching colour, which is a shade of either red or pink. It gives off a glamourous look and matches with almost any outfits. Ruby rings are one reason why many people purchase ruby stones. Did you know that is exceptionally rare to find rubies over 3 carats? Because of it coming from chromium, it causes cracks and fissures.




Rubies are a member of the corundum family, just like sapphire. Rubies are a 9 in the Mohs scale. With 10 being Diamond. Ruby can be worn for any events, especially for weddings or a birthday party. Rubies are mainly compared to blood as just like pigeon’s

blood, they too are known to be pure, beautiful and of course red in colour.
